Doctor Mattson is awesome. She is very caring and makes sure you are very comfortable. This place is the best place I have ever been to for dental procedures. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist but she made me so comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed and when I tell you I was scared to death I mean it, but I worked up the nerve to go. When I got in the chair dr Mattson made me feel more comfortable then I have ever could anywhere else. When I tell you I had little to no pain that's the truth. I barely felt a thing other than some pressure. She and her staff are fantastic.

I would give Dr. Mattson, and her whole staff, one hundred stars if it was possible. I have recently moved to the Baltimore area and needed a dentist. I must mention that I am extremely particular with who will be my dentist because I am 'anxiety-girl' in the worst way. My sister, Heather, referred me to Dr. Mattson, and I am infinitely grateful. I needed a root canal, and I was very nervous about it. To anyone reading this who also plays 'Extreme Dentist Anxiety' like an Olympic sport, Diamond Dental is for you. I had no pain, no discomfort, and no stress. I highly recommend Diamond Dental and Dr. Mattson to anyone.

Let me start from the beginning. The day before I go on week-long vaca for my sister's wedding out the country my front tooth breaks from a previous dental fix many years ago and I'm in a panic. I call around looking for a dentist mind you it's like 630 pm I feel doomed until I find diamond dental. Thank God! The service was quick! Costly but customer service was great and warming and I was out the door and smile ready in like an hour max! They saved the wedding for sure!

Best dental experience I’ve ever had. I used to have great teeth... before I had children. And due to an overwhelming fear of the dentist, for years I tried to do my best on my own without having to actually go. Unfortunately, tooth pain eventually forced me to find a dentist to look at my teeth. After asking around and searching online, I found a first-time patient deal with Diamond Dental. And it was a really good deal! Plus they got rave reviews, so I took a shot. It was the best experience... I swear to god, IT WAS RELAXING (and I’m not saying that just because I’m a stay at home Mom with three small kids who got to sit in their dental chair for over two relatively quiet, uninterrupted hours - I would have called it relaxing regardless. Completely pain-free (cavity filled and all - pain-free,) fun (Yes, it was FUN) reasonably priced and Monica Mattson is not only gentle, she’s a perfectionist (in the best way!!) and has a totally amazing bedside manner - not to mention she’s totally hilarious. And she’s a military vet, so of course I always want to support veterans in any way that I can. I got a cleaning, X-rays, and a cavity filled under a coverage option they have available through their office for people without dental insurance (which IMO was a better deal than rip-off “dental insurance” anyway!) She prescribed me some amazing toothpaste that made my teeth super white and helped build back some enamel from the calcium deficiency I’ve experienced (since having my three kids and nursing.) Plus because my teeth had shifted a bit, she filed one of them down FOR FREE. Looked so much better. Bottom line I can’t wait to go back and get another cleaning. I recommend her to everyone. EVERYONE. And I tell people about Diamond Dental regardless of their location, (because I don’t mind the drive to get to a health care provider that I like and trust, and I know others don’t either.) I have a girlfriend in Columbia who’s making the drive to see her, simply because - like me - she has a fear of the dentist. Ultimately, I’m so happy I found Diamond Dental; I recommend them for whatever your dental concerns are and I would give them ten stars if I could.

She was awesome. I had no choice but to make an appointment yesterday because I was in excruciating pain. It felt worse than childbirth. She came in and assured me that I wouldn't be leaving in pain. She walked me through the process before and during and she made me feel at ease. She numbed me so well that I didn't feel a thing and I still don't the morning after. I feel fine. My mouth isn't swollen and my gums don't ache. I was scared at first because a lot of people say a lot of negative things when it comes to root canals. Let me assure you, it's NOT BAD AT ALL WITH DOCTOR M!!

I had a great experience at Diamond. Dr. Mattson was great, as was the gentleman that did the cleaning and the very nice young lady at the front desk. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area who needs later hours. I’d also recommend this place to anyone that gets anxious when going to see the dentist. I couldn’t have been made more comfortable. 5 stars!

I have had a working relationship with Monica for over ten years She helps me overcome my phobia about going to the dentist and was always concerned about my welfare and the health of my teeth over anything else.

When she moved offices I followed even though it was 30 miles away. She is that great, State of the art equipment and great customer service from her staff all come together to provide excellent service. I would highly recommend her

Dr. Mattson has been my dentist for more than 14 years. I have followed her to 3 locations including her new solo office at Diamond Dental of Owings Mills. She is talented, gentle and caring. We met after my front teeth were broken by a horse. I needed extensive dental work including root canals and crowns. I routinely get compliments on my smile and people cannot believe that they are "fake"--even when looking at them up close!

Now other family members of mine travel from other states just to have Dr. Mattson take care of their dental needs! I love Dr. Mattson and my smile!

I highly recommend Diamond Dental! I have been a patient of Dr. Mattson for just over a year, my entire family has had cleanings, some fillings and I, myself had cosmetic dentistry work done. This office and dentist exceed any other experience I have had in the past. Customer service is above any other and the entire experience with this practice has been top-notch. Dr. Mattson is very thorough when explaining any problem areas she may find along with her recommended treatment options. I had peace of mind in her recommendations because she takes pictures of problems brings them up on the screens (along with the Xrays) so you see exactly what she sees. While she discusses treatment options she also includes the financial obligation associated with it. I never once have felt like I was being "sold" services or that she recommending unnecessary treatment. We have always been told all costs upfront, and never experienced any hidden or unexpected fees.

All of that in addition to Dr. Mattson's skill and caring personality I completely understand why patients travel over an hour to see her at her new practice! I wouldn't trust my family's teeth to anyone else!
